At the moment we are working on the building of an eco-toilet and the development of the 'Stepping Stones' project.
'Stepping Stones' is a confidence and skills building programme through hands-on activities. The activities include green woodworking, boat building, gardening, footpath construction, tree-planting and building with timber. The activities will mostly be based in and around the beautiful woodland setting and timber buildings. |

In the spring of 2006, Xwalachtun and Splash from the Squamish Nation (Canada), together with Kenny Grieve from Scottish Totempoles, came to raise our pole with us. The totempole was carved with help from volunteers and local children over a number of workshops and events. |

A wide range of educational and wildlife activities take place on an ongoing basis in the community woodland. These range from guided walks, art and craft workshops and training courses, to wildlife recording and surveys, annual Forest Fayre and open days. |
